Now that my bracket is totally ruined, I can finally step back and just enjoy the rest of the tournament. My new favorite team is Saint Mary’s led by their beast inside, Omar Samhan. Anyone who wants to learn how to play in the post, check out my man Omar, he is fun to watch. We have a new feature today. The one man I go to for everything sports has written up a Mock Draft for the upcoming NFL draft. Check it out on the Features Page. It’s been awhile, but what do you say we check in to GR’s Inpatient Advice Clinic.
I know you are the authority on many subjects so I am coming to you first. I want to start a vegetable garden this spring/summer and get on the whole urban/farming organic movement. Any suggestions on what vegetables to grow or how I should keep pesky deer and dogs out of my new garden?
I’m glad you came to me with this question because while I don’t have any experience with ‘gardening’ per se, I am really, really smart. The best way to keep your garden safe from pests is to select the right Location. If there is one thing I know about deer, it’s that they hate getting hit by cars. Try to find a place, like the median of a major highway, where animals won’t be so confident.
As far as what to grow, I would say that is up to the individual gardeners themselves. If the garden is for personal use, tomatoes and peppers are good choice. If the garden is meant to turn a profit, marijuana and opium poppy plants are the way to go. I wish you the best and hope that your urban farming is a great success.
